Day 177!

So Hurricane Sandy took a tree down in my yard, a bit of my roof, and my electricity. However it didn't take away my creativity.

I decided to make some jewelry by candlelight. So going on Etsy soon!

Day 176!

I'm taking a photography class, and my last assignment was to reference another photographer's work. I chose John Batho and his ultra saturated Photocolore collection. Here's a few of my shots.

I don't think I really referenced his work as much as I just took photos of brightly colored objects. I probably should have referenced his Plastiques collection, it's just a bunch of plastic bags in a wet street.

Day 175!

First official day of fall, a good time to get back on track!


I have folders and folder of photos to post since my vacation in August, but I have been so busy with work and school that I just never seem to have the time. Instead of back tracking and posting for the dates missed, I'm going to try and start here, posting current photos at least once a week. I know I have failed my 365/the little bit of everything miserably. But let's hope I can get back on top of this!

Day 174!

Oh my goodness I haven't posted in such a long time. 

But I do have an excuse. I have been so ridiculously busy, however busy in the most amazing way ever. At my new job I helped put these displays together!















This is the first real display I've ever done and it was unbelievably awesome. Especially since it's on 34th Street in New York.
















Really wish the glare wasn't so awful. Oh well.

My friend was on campus today and sent me this.

They hung up my Bowie drawing! Now if we can only find what they did with my music store drawing, and my aviator displays.

Day 173!

Getting my creativity on!

With my store closing last month there was a lot of junk getting thrown out. So of course being that I hate to throw stuff out, I took this plastic cylinder.


















I'm not really sure why I took it, not as if I needed it, but hey I found a use for it. Covering it with twine I made it a cute little hanging catch all for some of my jewelry.
