The little bit of random...

Dear Rachael,

I have a confession. Today I went to Mcdonald's and had an ice cream cone. The guy overfilled it to the point where it was basically like having two ice cream cones. Also, they fixed the ice cream machine and it's no longer hard and gross, but the good ice cream again. I felt guilty at first just getting Mcdonald's ice cream without you, but then when I realized I was pretty much eating two cones without you, I felt super guilty. When are we hanging out so I can eat Mcdonald's ice cream without a guilty conscience? Also when are we seeing Abduction at the fancy movie theatre?

With Love,
Kira

Day 103!

MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK DAY 2!

This was the meet and greet. Heather, Dan and I purposely wore our large geek glasses to get into MCS character. We also made lame faces because...well I don't know why, but it was requested by Heather and it seems in the second photo Justin was the only one that followed us on that.

The guy in the back with the maroon shirt on, he's Paul. We met him at the show, super cool dude. Also if you are ever in need of attention, you should go to American Apparel and buy the tights I am wearing here. I can't tell you how many people stop, stare or ask if those are tattoos. How random of a tattoo that would be.
Hey look at that, I sorta figured out my camera.

For the most part at a show I like to be in the crowd, not as if I can see better, because being just under 5'1 I can never see over anyone. However, I don't like being up against the barricade because sometimes shows get intense and bruised ribcages have happened before. Somewhere in the back or middle is where I like to be. I like the whole experience of the show. The heat, the loud music, moving with the crowd, being pushed from the crazy mosh pit and sticking to the floor from usually a spilt beer. I love that stuff. However this show, both days, I stood up on the balcony to see better. I greatly regret it. I missed out on all the fun. Look at that awesome crowd.

Aren't they amazing?

Day 102!

MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK DAY 1!

I bought special VIP tickets to see the amazing Motion City Soundtrack at Irving plaza. My vip tickets gave me early entry for two days, a meet and great with the band and a bunch of cool stuff like drum sticks. Well worth the price, which really wasn't all that expensive.

Sorry for the poor quality on this photo. I couldn't bring my nice camera into the venue, nor do I know the features on my basic point and shoot camera to try to get a better shot.

There are some songs I call my favorites and some songs I call my obsessions. This song is one of my many obsessions.

The little bit of random...

I would absolutely love some help right now!

I have an absurd homework assignment where I have to get people to call/text a number and leave a message. We had examples like, call this number and win a prize, or call this number and tell me why you're mad. I came up with the idea of pretending to plaster New York City with my friend's number, for people to prank him. If you have a moment and want to help me out, call or text this 917-409-8310  (it's just a google voice number not my real number, or Dave's lol). I would greatly appreciate the help.

Day 101!

This basically sums up why I haven't posted in some time....

"Well I'm sorry, but I just haven't the time!"
-Alice in Wonderland

If anyone has time they don't need, pass it on to me, I am desperate. Seven classes, two part-time jobs and an internship. What was I thinking? lol.

Here's one of the many things taking up my time. It's not even close to finish, and it's due this week. Let's hope someone gives me some of their unused time to get this done  ; )

If you can't tell that's David Bowie. During his awesome Ziggy Stardust days.

The little bit of random...

I'm currently at school, on my break, and I decided to look at my blog. My goodness is it a mess! Nothing is centered, my captions aren't under the photos as they should be, it's terrible. Does this look that way to anyone else, or is it just the computers at my school? If not, I'm going to assume since I use a Mac and I'm checking the blog from a PC that it makes some sort of difference.

I don't have a photo for this post about my blog mayhem. So instead, I have photos from the weekend!

I went geocacheing with Dan and Chris. It was soo cool. If you don't know what geocacheing is, check it out. Geocaching. It's not too hard to explain, but it's easier just to check out the site. Here is the first geocache we found. It's hidden in between all that wood. There were a total of three of them that we went to. I found this one!

Here is the third geocache, Chris found this one. Dan found the second one, I forgot to take a photo of that one though. Out of all the geocaches, this third one was the best. There were a lot of old toys in there, like old Hot Wheels cars/trucks and a Mickey Mouse Weeble Wobble! lol. I actually took the Weeble Wobble in exchange for a white Juicebox bracelet. I say it was a good deal.
